They got married with their feet practically in the water, Sebago huge and quiet behind them. Right after they said I do, they climbed into a vintage motorboat and disappeared across the lake—just the two of them and the low hum of the engine.
Hours later they were still going. The dance floor turned into something else entirely. Shoes off, ties loosened, that particular brand of joy that only happens when you stop worrying about looking good and just move. They closed it down.
Some couples are careful on their wedding day. These two were not.
